Eligibility Criteria
Admission to the B.Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) program in Maharashtra is a centralized process managed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell).
1. Educational Eligibility
To be eligible for the first year of BPharm, a candidate must meet the following academic requirements:
• HSC (12th Grade): Must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (12th) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Mandatory Subjects: Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• Optional Subjects: Either Mathematics or Biology as the third core subject.
• Minimum Marks: * General Category: At least 50% marks in the PCB/PCM group.
o Reserved Category (Maharashtra only): At least 45% marks in the PCB/PCM group.
• English: Must have passed English as a subject in the 12th standard.
2. Entrance Exam Requirements
Admission is primarily merit-based, derived from entrance exam scores:
• Maharashtra State Candidates: Must appear for the MHT-CET (Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology) and obtain a non-zero score.
• All India Candidates (OMS): Can apply using either MHT-CET or NEET scores. Generally, preference is given to NEET scores for All India seats.
Intake Capacity: 100 seats
Course Duration: 8 Semesters (4 Years Degree Course)
