Introduction of the department:

The Department of Political Science was established in 1997 Mr. Munge S.K  has been joined as the Head of the department in 2005 Dr Nihal R.B. was joined him in the department later . The few part time and Clock Hour Basis faculties has been contributed for the teaching purpose time to time.  Political Science is a popular subject of student and average 150 students every year joined for under graduate course. The Post Graduate (PG) course is later started in the year 2001. Sixty students is the intake capacity for the post graduate course in Political Science The entrance test is conducted for the PG admission as per the directions of the university. New teaching technique has been introduced to add the quality in the age of competitive world. ICT sessions have been taken for the students to make them perfect in acquiring knowledge. The Project work is given to the third year students as per the directions of Dr.BabasahebAmbedkarMarathwada University Aurangabad.

The department has organized and contiguously organizing various academic programmes for the students. The Board of Political Science is established every year to conduct the academic and co circular activities. Group Discussion, paper presentations and student seminars, wall paper presentation, group discussions, study tour, etc are the other features of the department. 

Important and Scope of the Political Science

The scope of Political Science implies its jurisdiction or subject matter. Political Science is a very wide and comprehensive subject. There is no agreement among the Political Scientists as regard to the scope of Political Science. Despite this disagreement, we may make an attempt to define the scope of Political Science which includes the followings:

• The  Study of Political Theory:
• The study of Political Dynamics:
• A Study of Adjustment of the Individual with the State:
•  A study of International Relations and international law
